Old Testament Prophecies about Jesus Christ and their Fulfillment
Prophecy is defined as prediction or foretelling of what is
to come. The Bible is the book of prophecies, and most of the prophecies are about
the coming and work of the Messiah – Jesus Christ.
It is stated that the possibility of just a few of the
prophecies coming to pass in any one individual is almost an impossibility, but God
alone has full knowledge of the past, present and future and He reveals them to
His prophets.
Hundreds of prophecies were written about the coming and
work of Christ and all were fulfilled in Him.
Below are some of the Old Testament prophecies about Christ
which were all fulfilled in the New Testament.
These prophecies provide compelling evidence for the Bible's divine origins.
VIRGIN BIRTH
