THE OUTSTANDING POWER OF PRAYER
Prayer is described as an address (such as a petition) to God.
Prayer is the key that unlocks the heavenly resources. It is not only a time to make requests to God, but also an opportunity to interact with Him.
The power of prayer stems from the fact that God to whom we pray is the creator of all things - both the visible and invisible. He is a loving Father and ever ready to help.
It is crucial for you to tap into this mighty power of prayer if you desire to live a fulfilling life.
It is such an important activity that our experiences, who we are, and what we become are all influenced by our time in God's Presence. As a result, the Bible exhorts us to pray without ceasing (1Thess. 5:17).
BENEFITS OF PRAYER
- PRAYER TRANSFORMS YOU
The Prayer of salvation for instance, radically transforms a person – 2Corinthians 5:17 states that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
- PRAYER GIVES DIRECTION
God has a plan for you; you are not here on earth by accident. You can get a good understanding of what your life's purpose is and directions on how to fulfill it when you seek God in prayer.
- PRAYER RELEASES DIVINE POWER
The staying power you need to overcome life challenges comes from the Presence of God. Isaiah 40:31 states that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
- PRAYER IS THE KEY TO WALKING IN MIRACLES
Miracle is the supernatural intervention of God in the ordinary course of nature.
There are situations that may overwhelm you and you will need God’s intervention in order to overcome. Prayer gives you access to the help you need for such situation.
- ACCESS TO DIVINE WISDOM
You can receive divine wisdom when you pray. James 1:5 states that if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask.
