The Power of Diligence

The Power of Diligence

Diligence is described as attentive and persistent effort.

It involves a persistent and consistent effort in any activity you undertake while maintaining mental focus and physical exertion, without undue delay and idleness.

Anything worthwhile takes effort to achieve, and doing the needful requires persistent action. We are apt to give up when we put in effort and see no immediate result. The antidote to this is to develop the character of not giving up until you get your desired result.

What are the benefits  of diligence?

  •           Diligence gives you a sense of well-being.
  •           Builds faith and energy.
  •           Gives fulfillment.
  •           Builds character.
  •           Gives skill and experience.
  •           Builds competence in what you do.

Your actions may seem to be ineffective at the beginning, but the impacts grow as you repeat them.

Maintaining the right routines over a period of time will eventually lead to an improved and desirable outcome, much the same way a compound interest on your savings grow tremendously over a period of time.

Following biblical principles of diligence is the way God has designed us to live and succeed.

The following bible verses about diligence will be a blessing to you as you take action on the truth of God’s word.
