Think right, believe right, and fulfill purpose

Every man/woman born has a purpose. No one is an accident. The good God has a reason for bringing you into this world. He alone has the key to you fulfilling your purpose.
Before you were born, He knew you and ordained for you a purpose (Jer. 1:6). He created all our reasoning faculties and various abilities to be used for His glory. It is a known fact that the real purpose of a product is determined by its maker; and abiding closely by his instructions as documented in his manual can you hope to maximize the use of such product.
God Almighty made you and has given us a manual –The Bible to know him and through knowing Him can we truly know ourselves and thereby live a meaningful and purposeful life.
We have been created with the capacity to acquire knowledge. The human mind is a masterpiece - depending on how it is used. A wonderful gift of God to us and it is to our advantage to use it for His glory.
What goes on in our mind is of utmost importance because it determines our level of victory in life. God wants our thoughts to align with His. If you want your ways to align with God’s ways, you must think His thoughts.
Isaiah 55: 7&8 – Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord for He will have mercy upon him: and to our God for He will abundantly pardon-  For my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways your ways - says the Lord.
The mind that stays on the Lord will experience perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3) – irrespective of the external turmoil.
Advantages of retaining God’s word in your mind:
  •         It is the source of perfect peace- Isaiah 26:3.
  •          Gives life and health – Prov. 20: 4.
  •         It makes your way prosperous- Josh. 1:8.
  •         Gives good success – Josh. 1: 8.
  •         It is the source of true joy- Jer. 15: 16.
  •        The word of God is a lamp and a light (gives direction)- Ps. 119: 105.
What you think habitually forms your beliefs and your beliefs form your character which in turn is key to fulfilling your purpose.
Some of the functions of the brain are:
1. Ability to think and concentrate.
2. The seat of our personality.
3. Speaking/communication.
4. Controls movements: Without the ability to move and carry out what our minds create we will be limited.
5. Ability to adapt.
6. Problem-solving.
7. Planning and anticipation.
8. Vision.
These are apart from vital functions such as breathing, blood circulation etc.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made, our brains more so.
We are capable of awesome creative imaginations, all of which does not guarantee complete fulfillment. Our direction come from God, we must humble ourselves to know that there is a God who is above us and without Him we can do nothing.
Our abilities are not complete without faith in God.
Jer. 10:23 says - O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walks to direct his steps.
